Why not create an awesome movie theater set-up in your backyard to enjoy an outdoor movie night this summer?
One of the best ways to take advantage of your backyard this summer is to throw a Backyard Movie Night party. Here is everything you’ll need to set up your own backyard cinema!
The first thing you’ll need to create the ultimate Backyard Movie Night is, of course, an outdoor movie screen. You can build a collapsable DIY outdoor movie screen for around $60 in less than an hour with this easy tutorial. With just a couple PVC pipes and a plain white sheet, you be ready to have your own outdoor movie night at home with this fun and easy project.
After you build your projector screen, its time to create a comfy seating area. I love this luxe outdoor theater decor with blankets, floor pillows, outdoor lounge chairs, and string lights.
Here’s another fun idea to create an outdoor lounge seating area using an inflatable kiddie pool. Blow up the kiddie pool, and fill it with cozy blankets and pillows. I love DIYs like this one that use items I already have.
Both adults and kids would love lounging in this seating area.
After you’ve got the seating squared away, it’s time to think about snacks. This DIY Concession Stand looks like an easy-to-recreate project that would be tons of fun. You could also make a Popcorn station with lots of popcorn and a variety of sweet and salty toppings.
And for a sweet treat to end the evening, what about these adorable s’mores baskets? Tuck graham crackers, chocolate squares, and marshmallows into a little basket for a fun dessert.
