As we head into the holiday season, I’ll be updated this page with creative gift wrapping ideas.
Pom-Pom Pinecones
Here is an awesome gift wrap idea. I love these colorful pom-pom pine cones and think they would look amazing on top of a gift instead of a traditional bow. Added bonus: This is a great craft you can make with your kids!
To make these pom-pom pine cones:
- First, collect some pine cones. Look for dry cones without much sap. Brush off as much dirt as you can, either outside or over a trash can. 🙂
- Glue on your poms!
- Attach to the top of your gift. Ta-da!
If you have some pom-poms in your craft supplies, you can use those. But I’d also recommend these 100% wool felt balls. They are 100% wool, so you know they’ll last. And alll colors used to dye these felt balls are AZO free and Non-Toxic
Alternatively, if you would like to make your own felt balls , you can find the full tutorial and more pictures at The Wool Acorn
