Here’s a quick and easy crochet flower pattern you can make with a small amount of yarn in just a few minutes.

Are you looking to add a flower applique to your crochet projects? This classic 5-petal design is the perfect little pattern! I designed it to be beginner-friendly and incredibly versatile.
- String a bunch of these flowers together with yarn to create a floral garland.
- Add leaves! Crochet some simple leaf shapes in green yarn and attach them to the base of your flowers.
- Use these flowers as embellishments on hats, scarves, bags, or other accessories!
Materials You’ll Need
- Yarn: I call for worsted-weight cotton in this tutorial, but feel free to use yarn from your stash.
- Crochet Hook: A size H (5.0 mm) works well for worsted-weight yarn. Choose a smaller hook for thinner yarn and a larger one for thicker yarn.
- Stitch Markers (optional): Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of your round, or any other stitches you need to keep track of.
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle: Use a yarn needle to weave in yarn tails.
